Beginning my last year of undergraduate university without blogging here is quite a shame for which I have no excuse. Anyway, if you are so inclined to forgive me, I present to you a few recent photos.
Shocktoberfest began as expected, marching band playing, cheerleaders pumping up the crowd, and Peter the Anteater posing with his fans. As always, the Men’s and Women’s Basketball team put up a good show too.
This year’s line-up included The Rej3ctz (not pictured), Hoodie Allen, and New Boyz.
If you couldn’t tell from the photo, Bello is currently a UCI soccer player with a great smile and easy-going personality. He’s from Ghana (hence the flag)! One of his favorite dishes from Ghana is “Abenkwan” or Palm Nut Soup. At the time, I had no idea what it was; apparently, it’s a type of spicy seafood soup. I learn something new every day. 🙂
