“I’m on vacation. I’m on holiday. I’m from Nigeria. I have a daughter. I go to see her. She’s at school, so I come to visit her.

I have my company in Nigeria. I am a director in the company. I am a builder. I am a property estimator. It’s a building company. We build houses, windows, doors, and roofing. From the capital city of the Delta, Asaba.

If you come to Nigeria, you are welcome. We love visitors. We love people coming to Nigeria. We love the West coming to the country to do things with us.

We love our food, our Nigerian food. We are so good in fufu, rice, yam, fish, meat. We make salad, very, very well. We do English food, Chinese food. It’s your own choice. What you want, we give you.

We are full of traditions and culture. Different ethnic groups. So many, so many, so many cultures. So many traditions. We have the bishop, the king of the town. We have them in different places like my own place. The town is Idumuje Ugboko, Delta State. The king, the obi in the palace, is the father of my husband. It’s like – the king, the village, all the people having a domain. They take care of the domain. Make sure rules and orders are carried out properly. Nobody is cheating the other person. Keep the town and people over there safe by having some guard men all over. They take care of the whole place, make sure that people are living in peace.

I am Anglican. We have reverends and bishops. They putting us more to the spirit, to the word of God. Like today, we read about Moses, we read about Jesus Christ. We read about Peter. We learned about forgiveness, and how revenge is forever. And that revenge is never for good. Love your neighbor, love your friends, and then that will be the ultimate motive. It is because of love, I have allowed you to interview me. It is because of God’s love, I feel that you are a daughter to come to me. I accepted you. That is love. That is spreading love.”
