We had another shoot with the same hair company as Peter, who was also there, but this time, another hair stylist named Dick arranged the models’ hair. These hair styles still seemed fit for the runway, possibly inspired by taxidermy. The stylists used real, human hair to cover various shapes, such as antlers, horns, and the like for the hairpieces. As usual, they used tons of hairspray to hold all the hair in place. Dick even used a lighter to burn off a few flyaway strands. To be honest, I was a little apprehensive about the presence of both a lighter and hairspray, but it worked out fine.

Then, we shot advertisement shots for a company that sells rectangular, patterned, scented, healing patches [Will update the name of the company later as I am currently not in Taipei and do not have my references with me]. Lots of action poses, inspired by a few Puma ads and Step Up 3D, which are always fun.

A typical photoshoot for a Vaseline advertisement followed. Typical, meaning one that lit the model evenly, with a plain white/light grey background.

Friday was my last day at work, and we did not have a photoshoot. However, after work, on my way to Shida Night Market, I spotted a larger crowd than normal across the street.

I actually did not know about them until I went home and looked them up. There actually is not much online about them, from a quick Google search, except that they are a Taipei-based indie duo who released an album in May. If you are interested, they have a few MVs on Youtube.

Apparently, on Saturday, the studio I worked for had a photoshoot for Nikon.  Funny, as Xiao Su uses a Canon.
