First things first: Yes, I know I have not blogged in a while. I have no good excuse, but I will be playing catch up for a little bit.
My first venture into Craigslist put me through with Erin E., who is due to launch a website featuring hand-picked accessories for sale.
Shooting jewelry is definitely a challenge. There is the concern of getting all the right details in focus, making sure that all the jewels are facing the right direction, dealing with reflection, coming up with different ways to display accessories … Fortunately, I have had good luck with weather during photoshoots – this one was a cloudy day – so that helped a lot.
