“I’m from Florida around Tampa. I’m about to go to college in the fall at USF. I’ll be majoring in psychology and minoring in criminology. I’ve always been interested in the subject and fascinated as to why people commit crimes. Kind of like V for Vendetta.

My costume – it’s actually from a TV show, United States of Tara. The character is from a comic book in the show and sort of a feminist icon.

It’s been a really fun year [at Comic Con]. I went to a lot of panels in the past two days, and it was really great. We were in Ballroom 20 and a smaller room and stayed for hours. We were there to see Community, Bates Motel, Hannibal, Gravity Falls, and Orphan Black. Even though the shows don’t have much in common with each other, they just all have good and well written plots. I was most excited to see the Orphan Black panel. I didn’t have very high expectations for them originally but seeing their faces with my own eyes in real life was exciting.

We decided to stay the night last night to get into Hall H and waited for a really long time. The line was on the other side of the marina! We even slept in a park and on the basketball courts, and they woke us up at 5 AM telling us that we couldn’t get wristbands anymore. So we decided to go back to the hotel and just go to the Exhibit Hall today. I’ve been to some [Cons] in Florida. There’s a Comic-Con in Tampa, and MetroCon. This one is definitely a lot bigger, with more celebrities.

I do enjoy reading books and comics, mostly Marvel comics, especially The Avengers. My favorite book at the moment is Kafka on the Shore. We had to read it for school. I’m not sure why because it was so risque, but it has a lot of magical surrealism and just a crazy plot that makes you unable to put the book down!”
